However, consider the following:


1. Seat surrender: If you get allotted a lower-fee seat, you'll need to surrender your previously allotted full-fee/management seat.

2. Fee difference: If you're allotted a lower-fee seat, you'll only pay the lower fee, not the difference between the two fees.

3. No guarantee: Spot allotment is subject to availability of seats and merit, so there's no guarantee you'll get a lower-fee seat.
