Hi
Jee mains is one of the most difficult engineering etrance exam and it is the path for admission in various good colleges. So it is the exam that may change your life and thus it becomes very important for you to crack jee mains.
As per your question you can read any book you want as long as it clears your concepts and you can efficiently solve mcqs correctly. Jee mains prescribes NCERT books to be followed for this exams and thus most of the students go through NCERT along with their board books. To be honest even NCERT is not enough, students require some references to have even deeper knowledge of the concepts. Thus I suggest you that you follow NCERT books along with rbsc books and also some books like
H.c verma and dc panday
Advanced Problems in Organic Chemistry
Concise Inorganic Chemistry
Plane Trigonometry
No amount of preparation is enough. The more you score the better. And practice mcqs regularly for all subjects and time bound practice
