CAN I PURSUE BCA AFTER MY 12th WITH NO COMPUTER OR PROGRAMMING KNOWLEDGE or should i go foe BTECH computer science engineering? WHICH WOULD BE BETTER BCA ONLINE OR DISTANCE?
Dear Student ,
Look, it depends on your goal. If you want to be a well placed IT engineer , the B.Tech CSE will be good option for you . But , if you want to pursue any other courses in Masters or just want to gain knowledge about computer programming and applications and gain experience by placing in IT companies with Associate level job profiles, then you can do BCA , but remember .. after BCA, you need to to do MCA must if you want to get a job similar to B.Tech CSE .
You can also do BCA in distance after your regular studies , if you want to .
If you want to do side by side job or any other professional work , then B.tech might be a headache for you , it will be best to go for BCA then .
And yes, it's absolutely okay , if you have no programming knowledge in 12th, you can go for both BCA /B.Tech .
Hope this answer helps !
See if you have no programming or computer science knowledge in your 10+2, then without any doubt you can join any of the course BTech/BCA. Both the courses don't require background in the subject of Computer Science and the curriculum are so designed, that a student gets enough time to learn the skills. So don't worry about the programming knowledge.
Now between BTech or BCA, I would suggest you to go for BTech. See the job profiles of BTech CSE are much better compared to BCA and usually the salary offered to the BTech CSE graduates are much higher compared to the BCA graduates. So if you have the scope, then join the BTech CSE course.
Now among BCA online and BCA Distance learning, I would recommend that BCA online will be a better choice, as there will be a better time management and time flexible learning time.
