Can I pursue msc maths after ba programme in comp. application + maths
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.
After earning a bachelor's degree in economics, you may pursue a master's degree in mathematics. I'm assuming you have an interest in statistics? Even in statistics, you'll need to know how to write proofs, therefore whichever school you go will need you to take a proofs course at the undergraduate level before admitting you to the graduate programme. The goal is to retain you in the programme and help you complete your master's or doctoral degree. In order to do this, they want to ensure that you have completed the suggested courses before allowing you to begin the graduate courses. There is no need to take such undergraduate courses, however it is highly advised if your BA programmes did not contain any mathematical proof writing courses in their curriculum.
Hope you got the answer to your question. Incase of any queries, feel free to question. Have a great day!
