Surely you can pursue your mtech in disaster management after completing btech in mechanical engineering. for pursuing mtech in this course a candidate must have

B.E/ B.Tech. in (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent, B.Arch. & B.Planning)

Is there written test and interview in IIT roorkee for this branch? Can u tell me previous years cutoffs?
