Can I pursue mtech in disaster mitigation and management after btech in mechanical engineering from IIT roorkee

Hi Keshwanand, yes it is possible for a mechanical engineering student to pursue m.tech in disaster mitigation and management. Courses from (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, and Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent, B.Arch. & B. Planning, or M.Tech. in Geological Technology and Geophysical Technology or equivalent, or M.B.A. or M.C.A. or M.Sc. in Physics/ Geophysics/Geology / Mathematics) can all have eligibility to take this for M.Tech course.

Ohkay thanks for your response....can u tell me the previous year cut off and...whether iit roorkee conducts written test and interview both for gate qualified students for this branch?
