Dear Keshwanand, Yes you can persue M.tech in Marine Engineering From "MERI" Kolkata even after you persued your B.tech from Mechanical Engineering. Here you can find that in this college which is affiliated by "IMU" (Indian Maritime University) which conduct their own exam for UG and PG courses i.e. IMU-CET which start their application process in month of april and exam is mostly conducted by the University in the month of June. so you have to appear in their own exam to secure a seat.

Yes it take admission on the basis of GATE Marks and IMUCET.

It course duration is 2 years and

the total Fee is 4.50 lakh.

Mandatory Course : B.E. / B.Tech( Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture) with 60% marks.
