Hello greetings

Most of the chapters in physics requires the concept of previous chapters and also a basic mathematical background is also required to solve numerical problems for instance if you consider rotational motion then without knowing the Newton's laws of motion and basic mathematics you cannot solve the concepts involved in the rotational motion similarly there are many topics which are connected and if you able to learn one topic then you can also solve problems from others suppose you are strong in electrostatics then there is no problem in solving questions from gravitational there for all the questions in physics are related but there are few topics which you can do separately which this topics includes optics model of Physics so the basic idea is it once the whole syllabus is divided into several parts each part is different and you can do it separately but within part you need to start from the scratch.

Hope this helps all the best
