There is no procedure or rather there is nothing such as a renewed migration certificate. Your old migration certificate needs to be submitted to the management and administration office at Calcutta University and a new copy of the same would be issued to you after proper scrutinization by the concerned authorities.
What you need to do is state your issue by the medium of a formal letter and send it or submit it to the administration office at Calcutta University along with your old migration certificate( in case you are sending via post then you need to send a copy of the old migration certificate and not the original one itself). After the letter has been received by the authorities, you would receive it instantaneously if you do the proceedings in person or it might take a week if the methodology is maintained through post.
