Coming back to your question, i will answer shortly then my recommendation will be that you do not change the board and continue with same board, from the board you have completed 11th or completing 11th.

See, few boards strictly do not allow changing the board after 11th and one of the such board is CBSE. They do not entertain this and in case if you take admission in any CBSE school in 12th after completing 11th from other board then you may be in big trouble 12th exam because it has been seen that many such students were exempted from the exam as they did not get admit card.

Now, some state boards allow this, from CBSE board or other state board if you have done 11th then too they can give direct admission in their board. So as you have not mentioned your state so i cannot tell more about state board. You should do research on it and proceed further.
