The MCAT is scored separately for each of its four sections. Each section will be assigned a scaled score that ranges from 118 to 132, with a midpoint of 125. These four scores will then be aggregated to create a total score, which will range from 472 to 528, with a midpoint of 500. It is to be noted that incorrect answers carry the same weight as unanswered questions. Therefore, it is advisable to answer all the questions, even if you are not sure about certain answers.
