Its a risk which I would recommend to take only if you have not completed your syllabus. Learning only the important ones is never recommended for those who are revising now, because you will significantly loose easy scoring options.

The pattern is never constant and the weightage varies yearly. But yes there are some clear topics like NCERT for Biology which can be predicted but Physics and Chemistry is more dynamic because it consists of sums to do.
