Ranchi Women's College is a Constituent Autonomous College under Ranchi University. It was founded in 1949, Ranchi Women’s college has carved out a niche for itself in the world of higher education for women in Social Sciences/Humanities, Sciences and Commerce.

Ranchi Women's College UG Courses :

• Ranchi Women's College offers BA in 14 specializations, B.Sc. in 7 specializations, B. Com, BCA, and BBA degree courses at the undergraduate level.

Eligibility Criteria :

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board to be eligible to apply for BA and B. Com programs.
• For B.Sc. program, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology as subjects in Class XII with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
• For BBA and BCA program, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with English as a compulsory subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate to be eligible to apply for these programs.
• All SC/ST candidates are eligible for the relaxation of 5%.
• For BCA course candidates must also have Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
• Candidates applying for Honors program shall have to pass the Class XII with a minimum of 65% marks.

Selection Criteria :

• Admission is done on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying marks and/or interview conducted by the college. The merit list will be prepared for all categories based on applicant’s marks at 10+2. Applicants will be called for admission process as per the merit list.

Ranchi Women's College PG Courses :

• Ranchi Women's College offers MA in 5 specializations, M.Sc. in 3 specializations, M.Com, and B.Ed. degree courses at the postgraduate level.

Eligibility Criteria :

• Candidates must have graduation/bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject(s) obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India to be eligible to apply for the postgraduate degree program.
• For M.Sc. program, candidates must have Bachelor’s degree in B.Sc.
• For admission to B. Ed, candidates must have must either a BA, or B. Sc., or B. Com from any recognized university with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Ranchi Women’s College Application Procedure :

• It is carried out in an offline mode. Candidates can obtain the prescribed application form from the college itself.
• You have to submit the duly filled-in application forms to the college campus/office along with the processing fee and the required documents.
• Once the form is submitted, candidates will have to wait for the announcement of the merit list cum notice to find out whether they have been shortlisted or not for the admission process.
• The merit list will be available on the official website of the college.
