Can I skip theory of HC Verma and solve only problems?
I would suggest you to focus on theory and numericals of important topics only as this would be helping you alot. Also, if you talk about NCERTs then these books will be enough as 80-85% questions come from there only but to keep yourself in safer side it is advisable to concentrate on reference books preferrably for important questions and if you think there is less time then devote your maximum time on important topics only and once you are done with your syllabus then start practising on sample and previous year papers and after that start online mock papers.
Good Luck!!!
