Hi,
Hope you are doing well!
Yes,you should prepare yourself by reading the conceptual matter from your books and after reading well you need to practice mcq to have a better grasp on those topics. Giving mock exams helps you to test your analytical skill as well as your time management and it would also give you a good practice for kvpy exam.
I must mention some of the last minute tips for KVPY exam. You should not start a new topic and must revise regularly. Practice solving MCQs as fast as possible. You should focus on your goal but do not overstress yourself. You should also give more emphasis on your weaker areas an practice them more.
Moreover, go through your NCERT textbooks also.

Hope it helps.
All the best for your future.
See most of the questions of KVPY, are asked from the course of 11th and 12th and at maximum you can learn about the subjects in your 1st semester. So there are no need to go deeper for theories of the 1st semester, instead see the previous year questions and then prepare accordingly. You can obviously prepare from the conceptual books at your library and its a good strategy but more important is that you must focus on the 10+2 syllabus and completely revise it well in order to clear most of the questions.
