Hello Sujatha,
The income certificate number should not be enough. You have to take your Income Certificate to counselling centre even if it is old it will be fine. They will scan your income certificate, and then they'll approve it.

I think they don't accept it. Just carry it with you in case they accept it you can submit.
try to carry white ration in that income should be mentioned.
