After successfully completing your diploma in costume design and garment Technology from AMU, there are several good career options available out for you,  but the salary at initial stage will be moderate. But with experience, caliber and knowledge your salary will gradually increase.

The career options available to you are-

• You can find employment in the government sector which deals with certain materials and textile like jute or cotton or silk.
• Quality control, marketing plan and cost benefit analysis are other responsibilities of a garment technologist.
• You can work as a technical adviser in large fashion houses or textile factories.
• You can decide to enter academics and teach garment technology

Your salary also depends upon the company you work for.
