There's no issue as such if you take a gap year after 12th class if you use the time wisely. Colleges will accept your admission even if you are a gap student but requirement being you fulfil their eligibility criteria. Although look for the details of the college if any in mind, so to be well aware of formalities and requirements. You may be required to provide an Affidavit outlining the reason for one year gap. So keep the documents prepared.
