Can i take admission in iiit Delhi

- Admission to B.Tech programs is offered on the basis of a valid score in JEE Main followed by Joint Admission Counselling (JAC).
- JAC is conducted in jointly in association with Delhi Technological University (DTU), Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology (NSIT) and Indira Gandhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW).
- Although B.Tech (Information Technology and Social Sciences (ITSS) and Computer Science and Design (CSD) admissions are offered on the basis of a valid score in JEE Main but some seats in ITSS are filled on the basis of merit in 10+2 and in CDS on the basis of UCEED score.
- Candidates willing to take admission in M.Tech Computational Biology (CB) have to appear for two tests, viz. Engineering & Mathematical Skills Test and Basic Aptitude test.
- Admission to M.Tech courses is done in three important stages, their academic performance is evaluated first. Those who have a valid GATE score, GPAT, CSIR-NET will be given preference at the time of final admission to M.Tech (CB)
- The second stage comprises of a written examination at IIIT Delhi, post which around 60 applicants will be called for the final stage of the admission.
- The third stage is a personal interview by the faculty member of IIIT Delhi followed by verification of the documents.
- Foreign students can apply for admissions through DASA with respect to the valid SAT score.
Yes, you can. You just need to have a valid JEE main score. It will be followed by counseling and UCEED. UCEED will only be applicable to you if you belong to Delhi. If you are Delhi based but not of science background, you can also apply on the basis of 10+2 score. Hope this helped!
