Can I take chemical engineering???
Hiii...
Yes , Chemical Engineering is the one of the most highest paying jobs in the world.
Yes it does not start as an instant success but if you are capable and talented you can survive the competition.
Most People who say chemical engineering is not good were pussies who never had the courage to actually fight the odds outside their classrooms. They are just whipped to think that maybe an MBA/coding might help them cling a better job than chemical engineering.
Very few people actually want to be chemical engineers and there are success stories of people, may someday me, that I have heard.
The placement scenario for chemical engineers is very scrutinized, especially in this country. Chemical Engineers go for beans when it comes to accepting an offer mainly because
one, companies in this country know that chemical engineers are just laying around getting dust and they will give what they want and we shall accept.
two, As chemical engineers we have no idea what we want to do or what our job profile shall be. Our misinformed ignorance lets you cast an image of doubt and incredibility.
Lastly, most chemical engineers themselves undermine their branch. I am not passionate about chemical engineering but I am curious and willing to accept that if chemical engineering is all I know, I shall pass it around with pride, inimitably.
The selectivity of filtering and hiring is different and varies from company to company. Some go to BITS but not IIT's, some only go to IIT's and even local colleges but not BIT's or NIT's.
Bottom Line is Chemical Engineering is not a branch that any tom, dick and harry can own up to with awe and dedication. It requires a bit more patience than writing a computer code. But if you are not completely CLUELESS and have the credibility and stoic aptitude, then the world is your oil farm. But if you have second thoughts, then better to refrain from chemical engineering rather than spreading your acrimonious opinions
Hope you get it
