Hello,

Yes, you can take a year off and prepare for AP EAPCET. As of now there is no upper age limit to appear for AP EAPCET except for courses listed below

  • B.Tech. (Dairy Technology)
  • B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering)
  • B.Tech. (FS & T)
  • B.Sc. (Agriculture Engineering)

The upper age limit of the candidate to get admission in to  above mentioned courses is 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year of Admission. So if you are seeking admission to any of these courses you need to fulfill the age criteria. If it is any other course you will not have any issues.
