Hello Aspirant,
See as per the allowed maximum limits of attempts of JEE-Main, one can appear for all the sessions of JEE-Main conducted in 3 consecutive years which included first year as passing year of class 12th so if you have passed class 12th in 2021 then you were eligible for JEE-Main 2021 and now you are eligible for JEE-Main 2022 and 2023 so even if you don't appear for JEE-Main 2022 and take a drop for one more year then also you will be having your last attempt as JEE-Main 2023 so you can appear for it, but if you had passed class 12th in 2020 then JEE-Main 2022 is going to be last attempt which will be conducted in 2 sessions so if you want you can appear for JEE-Main session 2 of 2022.
This time JEE-Main will be conducted in 2 sessions only as per the revised schedule given below,
>>>>>> first in June (June 20th - 29th) and
>>>>>> second session will be in July (from July 21st to 30th).
