I wish you could, but you at least need to have a graduation degree, which is 10+2+3 years. Work-experience isn't compulsory.  So, prepare well during your undergrad, and clear IIFT in one go. As soon you pass out college. Best wishes in advance.

The eligibility criteria for IIFT are;

1. Candidates should have a three-year Graduation degree from a discipline university.

2. Final year students were also eligible to apply.

3. Age Limit : There is no age limit for candidates to apply for IIFT entrance exam.

I'm sorry to tell you that you can't appear for IIFT after 12th as the eligibility criteria is that you must be a graduate or in the final year of graduation so that you can appear for exam.

It is good to see your excitement but you cannot take IIFT exam after 12th. You need to have a bachelor degree (graduation) to give IIFT. You can also give the exam in the final year of your graduation.
