I am giving you the exact details what is written in business rule of josaa :
WITHDRAW OPTION
58. A candidate, who has already accepted a seat allotted by JoSAA 2019, can
withdraw the seat by reporting at a reporting center up to 6
th round of seat
allocation before the last round of seat allocation (i.e., if JoSAA conducts atotal of seven rounds of seat allocation, candidates can withdraw up until
during sixth round of seat acceptance period).
59. Candidates who have exercised withdraw option will not be considered for
subsequent rounds of seat allotment. Seat acceptance fee will be refunded
to these candidates after deducting the processing charges of Rs. 1500/-.
60. There is no option of withdraw of an accepted/allotted seat after the
announcement of last round of seat allocation (For IITs only).
61. For exercising withdraw option, candidates have to complete the following
two steps.
(A) On the JoSAA portal fill-in the Bank Account details to which the seat
acceptance fee shall be refunded and upload an image of cancelled cheque
of the same account in JPG format. Then download the withdrawal request
letter.
(B) Both the candidate and his/her parent should sign the withdrawal
request letter and report at a reporting centre to vacate the seat.
(C) Candidates who have completed (A) but not (B), that is, not reported
at a reporting centre, will not be treated as exercising withdraw option.
The seats accepted by such candidates will not be released and will
continue in their names.
So you can withdraw before the 7 th round.
Good luck
