Yes, you can write JEE Main Exam both in January as well as April. The best score from both of them will be considered.
JEE Main Exam will be conducted in the month of January 2020. So, you have enough time left for the preparation.

Yes, you can write both jee main exam helds in January and april. As it is a great move by the government, giving the students one extra chance in the same year.
As many times, it happens with students, that they had prepared well for the exam, but at the day of exam, something unexpected happens with them, which effects his paper.
But now, they have one more chance to showcase their skills and that too without wasting a year.
It's not mandatory to give JEE both the times. But it's advisable to give.. because anyway you will get your rank or percentile based on the best of two(the exam in which you score better will be taken into consideration)if attempted both the times. And there is a chance of improving your score for the April exam if attempted already in Jan.
