Hi
Yes , you are eligible for appearing in NEET 2022 examination even after joining bds
This is because,
There is no rule which says that if you are doing Bbs or any graduation you become ineligible for Neet examination, as to be eligible for neet what all one needs is :
********** to must pass 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got:-
-----------) at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category
-----------) at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st category
-----------) at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.
So, if you fulfill this requirement as per your category then you are definitely eligible for Neet examination ,even if you enroll in bds and after qualifying Neet examination you can get admission in medical colleges for MBBS etc on the basis of rank or marks obtained by you in NEET. But yes, you need to check with your college once if you leave your BDS course in between you may need to pay the penalty amount as per the bond in the college, if any.
-----------) Age limit :-
Lower age limit:- to be eligible for neet one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December in the year of appearing for the examination .
Upper age limit :-The upper age limit is 25 years as on the date of neet examination and there's relaxation of 5 years for obc ncl/SC/ST /PwBD students means upper age limit is 30 years for these categories.
†††† But since 2018, the case of upper age limit is pending in supreme court , and so there's no upper age limit as of now until supreme court gives its judgement over it.
-----------) There's no attempt limit for neet.

Hello Aspirant,
Yes you can write but you will have to leave your BDS course mid way so I would recommend you to ask your college authorities about leaving the BDS course midway, however it is legal but there are some formalities that are to be completed and some penalties are also their that is to be levied so make sure to ask about the same from your college authorities.
