hi,

see delhi university is one of the largest university in India, every year numerous students participate in du admission for various undergraduate course, except from b.a hons economics, bms or bba course, admission to b.a, b.com (//b.com) or b.sc course is based on 12th score. see the aggregate marks in calculated taking one of the language subject and any other 3 subjects from list B. now as per your qualification you must satisfy the eligibility criteria for different b.a courses.

B.A. (Hons.) English- eligibility criteria is candidates must secure an aggregate of 55% marks or more in English and combination of three best other subjects from among the following from List b, Economics, Geography, History, Legal Studies, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology.

2. Inclusion of any other subject from List B in the combination of the best three will lead to a deduction of 1% per subject on the aggregate, with a maximum net deduction of 2%.

3. Inclusion of any subject other than those in List A (list A is the language subjects) and List B in the combination of the best three will lead to a deduction of 2.5% per subject in the aggregate of the Best Four.

now since you have physics and chemistry included which is not in the list for b.a english honors , your 2% marks would be deducted from best of 4 aggregate score. but you are eligible to apply and can get admission in colleges if your score meet the cutoff. however you may follow the below link to know in details,

Hello Aspirant!

You are eligible for admissions in BA but the thing is, there will be huge deductions of about 2.5-5%, which can decrease your chances of getting into a DU college. But if you want to pursue Economics Hons, there is no deductions as long as you took Economics and Mathematics in 10+2. In fact, in colleges like Stephen's, there is a substantial reduction of about 4 marks (1%) in eligibility criteria if one took PCM in 10+2.

Do check out which college and course you might get from this link:

All the best!
