There are 2 areas to score marks:
Internal marks & External marks
Internal Marks: It is a mark given by your staff who handling the particular subject.
Usually it will be calculated from your performance. It Includes Your Marks in Unit test (test conducted by your college) & Attendance.
External Marks : External marks is a mark given by some one else correcting your theory paper written.
You will be writing for 100 marks (10-2 marks and 5-16 marks).
Initially your external mark will be given for 100%. When both is over it will be combined.
How the Internal and External marks are Converted and then combined and produced 100%?
1) First your theory marks is converted to 80% from 100%.
2) Then the internal marks is converted to 20% from 100%.
Minimum Pass marks for both internal and External :
For theory exam : 45 out of 100 (if you get less than 45 even if you got 20 on internals you will be fail)
For internal : there is no minimum pass marks (even if you got zero you got 62 marks out of 100 theory exam means you will pass)
