This is the first time that AIIMS is conducting admission to MBBS course in all of its branches through NEET score. Under All India Quota, All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER are filled by DGHS. Now Jammu and Kashmir has 100% State Quota and so they do not participate in All India Counselling. And AIIMS will conduct its admission through All India Counselling alone and so unfortunately, a Candidate who has a domicile of Jammu and Kashmir cannot participate in All India Counselling and thereby take admission in any of the AIIMS branches for MBBS. So if you hold the domicile of Jammu, you cannot participate in All India Counselling because, All India Counselling for Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh is only for those Candidates who have do not hold the State's domicile.
