No, unfortunately, mental illnesses do not classify under PWD. Only the following mentioned disabilities are classified under PWD and will be given reservation in NEET-

Leprosy cured person

Cerebral Palsy

Dwarfism

Muscular Dystrophy

Acid attack Victims, others such as Amputation, Poliomyelitis c. Blindness d. Low Vision c. Deaf d. Hard of hearing a. Organic/ Neurological causes

Specific Learning Disabilities (Perceptual disabilities, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia & Developmental Aphasia d. Autism Spectrum Disorders

Multiple Sclerosis

Parkinsonism

Haemophilia

Thalassemia

Sickle Cell Disease
