Yes, top-tier neurosurgeons in India, especially those working in renowned hospitals like Fortis and Apollo, can indeed earn significant amounts. While it's difficult to pinpoint an exact daily income, it's not uncommon for experienced neurosurgeons to earn substantial sums, particularly through a combination of salary, consultation fees, and surgical fees.

Factors affecting their earnings:

  • Experience and Reputation: Senior and highly experienced neurosurgeons with a strong reputation often command higher fees.
  • Complexity of Surgeries: Complex procedures and surgeries can fetch higher fees.
  • Hospital Affiliation: The hospital's reputation and patient base can influence a neurosurgeon's earnings.
  • Private Practice: Many neurosurgeons also maintain private clinics, which can significantly boost their income.

While it's possible for a top neurosurgeon to earn a substantial amount in a day, it's important to note that this is not the norm. It's influenced by factors like the number of surgeries performed, consultation fees, and other additional income sources.

Keep in mind that becoming a neurosurgeon requires years of dedicated study and training. It's a demanding profession, but the potential rewards can be significant.

A top-level neurosurgeon practicing in a tier-1 city at a large private hospital like Apollo, Medanta, or Fortis with 8-10 years of experience could earn according to these hospital norms which is 20 to 30 percent of per surgery they performed.

There is a specific agreement between hospitals and neurosurgeon on salary and percentage earned from surgery it totally depends upon the reputation of neurosurgeon and his experience.if you total the amount than if there is every day surgery performed then they can earn more than lakhs depends upon patient flow but if in weeks there are 3 to 4 surgery or less than they may earn less than lakh rupees.on average 4 lakhs rupees can be earn by the neurosurgeon in any city.
