Dear Meraz, if a Candidate belonging to OBC NCL has no valid OBC-NCL certificate at the time of admission/counselling/recruitment, the Candidate will be considered under General Category. That is the only instance. However GATE has nothing to do with subsequent admission or recruitment process.
