Hello Aspirant,
During this pandemic there is special relief provided to only those candidates who were COVID positive during JEE-Advance 2020. If any candidate who had qualified JEE-Main 2020 but got COVID positive during JEE-Advance 2020 can directly appear for JEE-Advance 2021 without bein qualified in JEE-Main 2021 otherwise in normal conditions you are not allowed to appear directly for JEE-Advance 2021 without appearing for JEE-Main 2021. JEE-Main result is only valid for one year and it would not be considered as the basis for JEE-Advance 2021.
So if you want to appear for JEE-Advance 2021 then you have to mandatorily appear for JEE-Main 2021 and also you need to qualify it with qualifying cut-off.
Expected qualifying cut-off for JEE-Main 2021 is given below :-
- Common Rank List (CRL) - 90- 95 Percentile
- GEN-EWS - 70- 75 Percentile
- Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 70- 75 Percentile
- Scheduled Caste (SC) - 50- 55 Percentile
