Can one do mechatronic engineering through mechanical engineering?

Hi Archit....

Actually it depends on your college.If your college allows you to do minors & honours of another branch ,then it is possible to complete both Mechanical & Mechatronic Engineering simultaneously.

So,Consult ur college Head of the Department(HOD) or Dean for further clarification.

So u are saying that i should do Btech in mechanical and then masters in mechatronics.

Hello aspirant,

Yeah you can surely go through mechatronic engineering through mechanical engineering since the subjects which you study in mechanical engineering will some what exist in mechatronics.

And by the way the application of mechanics in electronics called mechatronics .

Also it requires some of the electrical systems related knowledge .

Surely you should know designing part .
