Hi
No, you cannot do BAMS or BHMS in correspondence i. e in distance mode along with your paramedical
This is because,
Both BAMS and Bhms are medical courses which are completely practical, in which you'll learn how to treat diseases and save life and you can't do to it by just learning theories, also these courses involve 1 year of mandatory internship in the last year. Thus these courses are not offered in distance mode or in correspondence and so you can't pursue them .
If you are looking for doing some courses in correspondence /distance mode along with your paramedical, then you can go for non practical courses like BA etc or any other course of your choice.
And don't worry both the courses will be valid
UGC has given its approval that one can go for pursuing two courses at the same time, the only condition is that one cannot pursue both these courses in regular mode i.e for both the courses to be legal, one course can be in regular mode and other course in distance mode from Open University .
One can choose two different colleges for pursuing the two different degrees, that is one in regular mode and the other in open/ distance mode or one can pursue the two courses from the same institution or college provided it offers both regular and distance education.
Some of the top open universities are listed below from where you can pursue your distance education are :-
