No they can't.To become a medical officer the minimum basic requirement is of a Mbbs degree.

Absolutely you can. Actually different companies have vacancies which they post regularly and you've to keep a track of that about what their requirements are. If the profile they're offering matches your profile you're good to go. In some cases companies conduct online examinations also.
