Hello,

SPSC exam will be helpful with UPSC. You can even prepare for IBPS bank examination as a backup when studying for the UPSC test. It's a job at the government. For bank exams You should also  have knowledge of quantitative aptitude, reasoning, English and general awareness. SSC CGL can also be considered as an option when planning for UPSC. SSC CGL is basically a common graduate level examination by the Staff Selection Commission. The Railway recruitment board (RRB) also performs vacancies in the different departments for examination and publication. These are some options you can use as a backup for UPSC. And Remember there is not much overlapping of syllabus. So if you are interested to appear for more than one exam, then it all depends on your dedication and capabilities.
