MIT Pune World Peace University is a good college to opt for. It is a private college located in Kothrud Pune and belongs to MIT group. The faculty is nice, facilities like lab are commendable and even placements are pretty good. Robotics can fetch you a good job. Make sure to do many projects and internships. Fee is a bit high.

Last year the two colleges in Kothrud Campus i.e. MIT Pune and MITCOE merged together as MIT-WPU which would offer a B-Tech Degree rather than the usual BE offered by Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Speaking out of personal experience, My journey at MIT has been quiet good so far . As I am from MIT Pune, I can assure that the Staff is quite co-operative and intellectual so are the students. Labs are very equipped. All the Departments have vivid and Sophisticated Classrooms. MIT’s Campus is Astonishing in every possible way and Kothrud is nice locality to reside in. Academics are really great and along with academics you get to learn other things as well e.g. Extra Curricular Activities, Event Management etc. etc.

You can also be part of many great teams in the college and learn a lot of new things( MIT Cultural Team is quite phenomenal when it comes to Extra Curricular Activities …MIT Texephyr is a National Level Technical Event ).
Canteen is great. Gymkhana is well equipped and We organize Sports Summit Every Year.

Overall MIT-WPU is one of The Best Private Engineering Colleges out there . Students from all over India are joining WPU and Yes it’s some Worth!
