Hello Alec

According they release your All India Rank, Category Rank and State Rank

Those who wish to take admission through All India quota, can register for the counselling. Not everyone is called for counselling. The number of Students they call is approximately 5 times the number of seats.

A notice is released after 2 to 3 days of the result stating that they have to register for getting a seat through the All India Quota. All procedure is online.

You have to take a print out stating that you are qualified for counselling through all India quota.

They then redirect you to another site which is highly sensitive and your IP address is also tracked by that site.

You have to make your account on that site and register for All India counselling and have to fill necessary information. The account you make there is password protected which should be confidential.

Now, you'll be provided with a list of all colleges all India and you'll have to fill your choices according to your preferences.

You have to save your choices and lock them.

After 3 to 4 days, they'll tell you about the name of college which can be allotted to you, just a prediction. The next day, they'll release a list of the final college that is allotted to you.

You have to take the print out of the page and report to the college with your documents and the page within 10 days.

When you report to the college, you'll have to submit the DD of fees of that college and fill all necessary forms. You have to take your original documents and submit them.

In that college you'll be asked if you want to go for further rounds of counselling or you want to retain that college only.

If you opt for next round, you'll again have to wait for a few days and again a list is released with college in second round. If you are lucky then your college can be upgraded.

You have to now report to previous college and cancel your admission, collect your documents and then report to the new college in 10 days.

Again take admission there and repeat the same till 3rd round.

The seats left unfilled by AIQ are transfered to their respective states.

State counselling varies from state to state.

In Maharashtra, the procedure was offline, it may have changed now. People have to report to any of the 4 centres the state allotts and register for counselling. Later the allotted colleges list is released.
