Hello saraswathi,

Every enginnering branch have a good scope in future. You will be having a great future if you excel in the branch you have taken. As you have said you are intrested in computer science and maths this makes you a perfect student for computer science.

This branch is always evergreen if you get grip on coding you will be most successful in this carrer.

Hope this answer helps you,

Goodluck,

Thankyou.

Hello Saraswati,

Look first thing that you should remember before choosing any branch is the interest. For example , if your having interest in physics and maths then you should go for mechanical engineering as it is a evergreen branch. If you don't like physics but do have interest in programimg then you should choose CSE or IT.

I telling you this because whatever the high scope of branch you are opting, if you don't have passion to learn about it,then you are going to be a bad engineer. In the end you will always regret it. So first thing first choose what you like.

Now coming to scope of different branches Mechanical engineering , as I said scope is always high. But remember company only selects the best. CSE and IT is also in boom, as you know our life is completely bounded by gadzets, so demand of CASE and IT is also increasing.similar for electrical and electronics.

But one branch which is going to get a increasing boom is , I feel robotics and mechatronics.

Robotic and automation sector is currently in infant stage but in future it's going to do a lot of impact.

Hope this will help you.

Good luck

Dear Aspirant,

The best branches are from placements point of view are undoubtedly Computer Science and Engineering a nd Information Technology. Most of the big tech companies are hiring CS/IT student only, and almost all the PSUs are showing a decrease in the vacancies, which is reflecting the status of core branches.

However, the most important thing is to do your Btech from a good college and by good college I mean only TOP 10 IIT/NIT/IIIT. Do not do it from some abc college, then you will not be able to enjoy the perks of CS/IT but their curse of being corporate labor.

Hope this helps.

Thank You.
