Can students from other state than WB appeare for WBJEE
Hello Murlidhar, students who are not having a domicile of west Bengal, can apply for the WBJEE exam. Below students can Apply for the Webjee exam for this year,
Students having domicile of west Bengal.
Students live in west Bengal from last 10 years.
Students from all over India.
Students whose parents are permanent from west Bengal.
But for the admission process, students who are out of west Bengal can not apply for the colleges in west Bengal. Only the residence of west Bengal can apply for counseling.

You can always appear and wirte for WBJEE and also get admission into the best universities depending upon your rank.So as per the information a candidate does not require residential domicile as long as the candidate belongs from the general category.The same aplies for admission to various state aided univerisities.How ever there are domicile requirements for admissions to various government collegs for general and reserved category.You may also check the official websites for further more information.
Yes, Student of other states can also give WBJEE and also eligible to take admission in various colleges of WB.
Some points to be noted-
- Student should be citizen of India.
-Minimum 50% marks are mendatory in Graduation as well as in PCM(High secondary exam).
- Test Centres are located in WB only.

Yes, the students from states other than West Bengal can appear for WBJEE ,if he/she follows the following criteria :-
- He needs to be a citizen of India
- The candidates should have qualified his/ her 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Computer Application as compulsory subjects with individual passing marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the three subjects mentioned above in regular class mode
- General category candidates should have secured an aggregate of 45% and reserved category candidates should have scored 40% in the above three subjects taken together to be eligible for WBJEE 2019. All candidates are required to have qualified English in 10+2 with at least 30% marks. The board of the qualifying examination must be recognized by Central and State government concerned.
