Students live in west Bengal from last 10 years.

Students from all over India.

But for the admission process,  students who are out of west Bengal can not apply for the colleges in west Bengal. Only the residence of west Bengal can apply for counseling.

I hope it will help you more.

Hey Muralidhar,

You can always appear and wirte for WBJEE and also get admission into the best universities depending upon your rank.So as per the information a candidate does not require residential domicile as long as the candidate belongs from the general category. The same aplies for admission to various state aided univerisities. How ever there are domicile requirements for admissions to various government collegs for general and reserved category. You may also check the official websites for further more information.
