can u explain me about css(computer science and system engineering) us this good for me , what are the job offer for this course is this same as cse branch
Hello,
- CSE branch has the most scope as compared to any other branch.
- The CSE professionals can work as a computer programmer, data scientist, systems analyst, software developer, hardware engineer, IT consultant, system engineer, system designer etc.
- If you are interested in programming, software development, computer science and have good analytical and reasoning skills may pursue this course.
- IT sector is the higher salary provider sector. A fresher can get the initial package of 2 lakh per annum to 3 lakh per annum in India.
- If you are interested in programming, software development, computer science and have good analytical and reasoning skills may pursue this course. B.C.A. (Bachelor of Computer Applications)
- Otherwise go for BTech which is more detailed course.

- System engineers on the other hand is ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability.
- They Installs , configures, and tests operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- When I think of Systems Engineer, I think of Embedded Electronics + Software Engineering, so yes to programming.
- An early career Systems Engineer, IT with 1-4 years of experience earns an average total compensation of 388,728 based on 1,819 salaries.
Lastly software engineer basically focuses on software systems where system engineer work for the hardware management and both are rewarding subjects if you have relevant skills.
hope this helps!!
Hello Aspirant,
Computer science engineering is mainly advanced programming and software design. On the other hand Computer systems engineering is almost the same,it starts from basic and then goes to advances concepts as you need to gain in-depth knowledge about computer technology here. A systems engineer develops, tests, and evaluates software and personal computers by combining their knowledge of engineering, computer science, and math analysis. Basically in computer science engineering you will be learning the software part and in computer system engineering you will be learning both software and hardware. In a company a system engineer will take care of company’s security requirements, data exchange, use of online applications, and employees’ online activity. Some popular job roles after studying computer systems engineering are application software developer, computer hardware engineer, and systems software developer, system innovation positions, component manufacturing positions, and system integration positions etc. As you go up to senior engineer level, your salary will also increase. So to decide which field to go into depend on you interest. When you compare , system engineering needs in depth learning as I said earlier so you may not be able to stop at undergrad level , you will have to study further in a good institution with proper training in order enter the job market so in terms of career options both are more or less the same but to be a successful system engineer it may take little time, patience and experience as it is complex than CSE, hence if if immediate employment is your priority go with CSE.
