The officials do not prescribe any syllabus for KVPY exam but here is the list of topics which should be covered under Physics - Magnetic Effects of Current, Physical World and Measurement, Reflection, Refraction, Electromagnetic Induction, Sources of Energy, Applications in Daily Life, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Gravitation, Thermodynamics
Biology - Heredity and Evolution, Reproduction, Life Processes, Control and Coordination in Animals and Plants, Our environment, Plant Physiology, Diversity of Living Organisms, Cell: Structure and Function, Human Physiology.
Chemistry - Chemical Reactions, Acids, Bases and Salts, Periodic Classification of Elements, Carbon Compounds, Environmental Chemistry, Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Thermodynamics, Metals and Non-Metals, States of Matter: Gases and Liquids, Classification of Elements & Periodicity in Properties
