No, you can't apply for both at the same time. You will have to choose anyone of them.

When you apply through sports quota in Delhi University then you get a relaxation of 5% in admissions and 15% relaxation in academic merit.

There are two types of admissions taken in DU through sports quota i.e. Direct admission, if you have represented the country on an international platform, and entry via trials. DU gives 40% weightage to the sports certificate and 60% weightage to the sports trials of the game for which the candidate has received the certificate.The sports trial will include Sport Specific Fitness, Overall Playing Ability and Fundamental Skills.

Marks for the sports trial will be awarded out of 60 and you will have to score at least 30 marks (i.e. 50%) in order to qualify for admission through sports quota.

When you choose to apply through entrance exam only, then you can only get relaxations based on category or through some special quota like defence quota  (if applicable). Otherwise selection is based on merit.
