Yes, it is compulsory to be a graduate for applying in CAT. CAT exam is held to get admissions into MBAs, i.e. Master degree in business administration. So, it is quite well understood that one needs to be a graduate for CAT. The graduation can be B.com, B.A, BBA, B.pharma etc.

To be eligible for CAT, it is not compulsory to do BCom but yes it is compulsory to do graduation, it can be in any discipline like BA, Bcom, BSc, Btech

you need a  Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA . SC/ST/PH students need only at least 45 percentage in Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline to be eligible
