a psychiatrist is a medically termed profession. A candidate aspiring to be a psychiatrist can do so by entering the medical field and completing their MBBS followed by their M.D. in Psychiatry. Whereas, after the completion of your post graduation in the field of psychology, you can be a Psychologist by profession. You can also opt to pursue your education moving forward, to M.D. in Psychiatry to become a psychiatrist.
