Hello Jogendra,

As much as we want to clear all your doubts, it's not possible if the question is not clear enough.

Though your question is not clear to answer I am assuming from the given words that you want to know whether you can become a software engineer after doing BSc engineering. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong

So if my assumption is true then let me answer your question.

The answer is yes. Yes, you can absolutely become a software engineer after doing BSc. Engineering.

The journey for you is going to be a little difficult but not impossible. At first, you won't be able to get good offers, especially from big companies. But as time will pass and you will gain experience then it won't matter much. If you have a passion for coding, the difficulties should not bother you much.

However, it's all your decision to take. But you definitely can be a software engineer after bsc engineering.

Hope this helps. All the very best for your future endeavors. If you have any further queries, please feel free to ask. We will be happy to help.

Hii Jogendra

If you want to be a software engineer you have to choose B.Sc engineering in the field of computer science. You should have basic and fundamental knowledge on coding languages like C, C++, Java. Initially you may not get good opportunities in reputed MNCs however with experience you will get good salary package in reputed companies.

Tata consultancy service, Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte etc. these companies conduct special recruitment drives for B.Sc engineering students and offer packages slightly lower than software Engineers from CSE, IT or Engineering background. Hope I solved your query.

Thank you

Hey..!

If your undergraduate degree is not in computers or a related field, then you can apply for a 2 year graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering. You can do Btech in Computer Science. Engineering colleges reserve 20-25 percent seats to lateral entries(joining in the second year). Probably you will need 55-60 percent in Bsc to get admission into engineering courses. If not engineering then you can also opt MCA . Criteria is the same even for MCA where you have to score 55-60 percent. After completing any of these..then you can apply for a software job.

Hope this helps

All the Best...
