Can we compare LPU with IIT Bombay?

Engineering Programs at LPU are in the same league as BITS Pilani & many of IITs.

As per the world ranking 2022 LPU has been ranked 10th amongst top universities of India in engineering subject.

The CSE course of LPU has been ranked 9th in computer science, amongst top universities of India.

Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. And this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 650 placement/internship drives have been conducted till February 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs).

Not only IIT Bombay, The Top 10 IITs are knots ahead of any other Private University in terms of Infrastructure, faculty and research facilties. You may have Huge Shopping Complexes, Food Courts , 5 Star Rooms and AC Bus Service within Campus in destinations like LPU or Galgotias but that is not what a college is meant to be. 100% Placements at IITs might be a myth and you may have to work quite hard to achieve a Placement unlike Institutes like LPU, KIIT or VIT where you can easily get a Mass Recruitment Offer from either of TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture or Infosys. But on the contrary it is that hardwork, the rigorous schedule, the decades old triple and double bed rooms and the rich interactions with friends and seniors which teach you a lot about life at IITs which you may never experience at any other Institute in India.

Yes surely we can compare that's in our hands. But IIT Bombay is way better in almost all the aspect than most of the other graduation and post graduation offering universities. Specially when it comes to placements, IIT Bombay has probably the top placements in the country. Teaching wise, opportunities wise, and even infrastructure wise IIT BOMBAY is way ahead than most of the colleges. .similarly cutoffs to get into IIT BOMBAY are also much higher and you need to be on the top to get a seat.
