Greetings, aspirant!
BCA stands for Bachelors of Computer Applications and it is a 3 year long UG course centred around knowledge of computer softwares and applications.
The basic eligibility criteria to apply for this program is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 from any discipline with a minimum 45% to 55% aggregate score, depending on the college. The candidate must also have English as a compulsory subject.
Being well versed with computers is an obvious advantage when pursuing this course. However, if you're not familiar with computers at all, the course may prove difficult. So if you wish to make a career in it anyway, I suggest you start familiarising yourself with the basics of this course so that you can keep up with the course curriculum as it progresses.
It's difficult, but not impossible. You can pursue certain short time courses as well to keep learning more and more.
Hope this information helps
Best of luck!!
